The top line of the header command frame (4) shows the working directory of the current context, which is usually the users home directory for configuration purposes. The rest of the pane offers the following actions:
Edit calls the users favourite editor with the selected configuration file from the dir1 (5) frame as argument. Note that the file is not automatically re-evaluated by the ComPact GUI after saving any changes.
ReInit re-initializes the current session of the ComPactHTTPd server. This effectively re-evaluates the compactrc, compact-env-rc, HTTPdActions, and PkgBase.DefaultData resources, so that changes should be contained in the server's internal state. You must keep in mind that you may have several open sessions, and that directory, package, project, and pool contexts always belong to the session from which they were created. If the effect of your re-initialization is not as you expected, chances are that you re-initialized the wrong session. The session to which very context belongs is always displayed in the title frame (2).
Save writes all the variable bindings of the current session for the variables named in the env-file-settings list into the compact-env-rc file and re-initializes the current session. This is the recommended action after changing any configuration parameter in the command group menu (8) and command frame (9) at the bottom of the page.
Create can be used to create a file or directory in the current working directory.
Delete removes one or more files from the current working directory (if the pathnames are relative) or from anywhere (if the pathnames are absolute).
