2.3. GUI Package Management

This page shows you the package management part of the ComPact GUI.

The header frame offers possibilities for general file and directory operations, as well as the checkout or creation of packages and collections of packages. The left of the three frames in the middle of the page shows you a selection of packages to work on, with the currently selected one on top. The middle and right of these frames are used as file browser to display the directory structure of the selected package. The bottom region of the page contains the commands that are applicable for package management contexts. They are separated into several groups of thematically akin actions. In the view above, the build/ship group is selected.
